It seems like its been an eternity since I last posted on the blog. About 3 months have come and gone and I can say with certainty 2014 has been one hell of a year.
This summer has included our almost fatal car accident, selling our dream home to accommodate our growing family, house hunting with our first contract falling through due to an absurdly low appraisal, living with the in-laws for far too long, a home remodel, move, and losing our beloved 10.5 year old chihuahua who was like our first child. I don't recommend packing all of these crazy bits into a short time span but unfortunately most of it was 100% out of our hands. Did I mention I'm 7 months pregnant and it's a GIRL?!
One constant has been Hipster Baby and I'm so blessed to have such a great business keeping me busy. Our Fall 14 photo shoot was a blast, minus the crazy heat at the end of August. One of those "You Know you Live in Texas When..." kind of moments when at 6pm I have to worry about keeping little guys and their parents cool in 100+ degree weather when the week before it had been 60 degrees! We went to historic downtown Grapevine and got some great shots along the old courthouse and schoolhouse thanks to Tanya McCarthy Photography. Our go to baby models were booked that day so I look forward to using them as toddlers for our next shoot!
Fall 14 boys clothing is loaded up with Hipster looks, including some of my favorites from Joah Love and Mini Shatsu. Stay tuned for our 2 pop up stores this November if you live near the Dallas area! Full speed ahead as it will be here before we know it. Lets all just say a quick prayer Baby #2 stays cooking that whole time as she is due December 5th so it might be a close call.
